MEET MOYO
Moyo Adeolu is a first-generation Nigerian-American multimedia journalist, on-camera host, and video producer, who previously worked for the Illinois State Senate, WCIA 3 News, Ad Age and Axios.
From Chicago to New York City, Moyo has worked across local, national, and nonprofit newsrooms as a reporter, producer, social media strategist, content creator and on-camera talent. Moyo excels in transforming traditional journalism into engaging content for online audiences. Throughout her education and career, she has gained hands-on experience in digital reporting and production that spotlight public affairs, lifestyle, local and breaking news and events.
Moyo has a bachelor's in Communications and a masters in Public Affairs Reporting. She also enhanced her education by studying overseas at IHECS Journalism & Communication Academy in Brussels, Belgium, where she found a love for international travel and tourism.
In addition to her career in storytelling, Moyo is an advocate for physical health and wellness. She is former Miss Illinois Teen and Miss USA state contestant. When she is not producing stories, she enjoys traveling abroad or participating in a local and national fitness events.
